I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Nicholas Vienneau, I have had the honour of calling Yukon my home for the past 15 years. I taught at Ghuch Tla Community School in Carcross for two years before making the transition into Whitehorse. Since that time, I have taught at both the elementary and secondary levels as a teacher and LAT, as well as worked at the Department of Education as the Experiential Consultant. Most recently, I taught in Dawson City at the Individual Learning Centre (ILC) (2019-2020) was the acting Principal at JV Clark School in Mayo for 8 months (2020-2021) and the acting principal at St. Elias Community School in Haines Junction (2021-2022). Each of these positions have offered challenging opportunities that have helped shape my professional career.
I am really looking forward to the new school year and am excited about all the opportunities the year will bring and hope all student have a great and productive year.
